Brian T. Strayton

Advisory Board

Brian Strayton, Vice President and Treasurer of Schottenstein Stores Corporation (SSC), is a member of the Advisory Board of SB360 Capital Partners. He has more than thirty-five years of experience in the financial services industry. As VP and Treasurer of SSC, Brian’s area of focus includes corporate finance, and the development and management of institutional relationships with banks, investment banks, insurance, and other financial service providers.

Since joining SSC in 2008, Brian has held a variety of Executive/Senior Finance/Director positions within the Schottenstein family of companies. He is part of a team of senior advisors who assist with the evaluation of investment and capital investment/allocation decisions. He also assists with the identification, due diligence, structuring, financing, and management of portfolio companies and investment opportunities.

Before joining SSC, Brian was a Senior Vice President and founding member of the National Retailer Group at National City Bank, a specialty unit focused on strategic growth objectives serving the financial needs of large national and multi-national retailers. During his career with National City Bank, he held increasing roles of responsibility as Assistant Vice President-Corporate Banking, Vice President-Capital Banking Division, and Senior Vice President.

Brian sits on the Board of Directors for Brownie Points LLC and SEI, Inc. and is a former member of the Board of Directors for Prevent Blindness Ohio.

Brian is a 1987 graduate of the Farmer School of Business at Miami University where he earned his BS in Finance.
