Matthew Cohen is a Senior Manager of SB360 Capital Partners. He takes a leading role in the due diligence process including determining asset values and strategy for targeted asset dispositions, liquidations, and acquisitions for the retail, wholesale, and industrial sectors across North America. Matthew coordinates operations throughout the life of the transaction, from the development and tracking of financial analytics to key stakeholder management.
Prior to joining SB360, Matthew held several positions with Gordon Brothers. Most recently he was a Senior Manager with responsibility for providing analytical support on asset dispositions and liquidations in the retail industry, as well as the deployment of capital through asset or full company purchases and asset-based loans. He worked with the senior merchandising and operations teams to evaluate, underwrite, and structure special situation transactions.
Earlier in his career at Gordon Brothers, Matthew was involved in corporate strategy where he assisted the executive leadership team to assess and enact strategic growth opportunities. Matthew also worked in the valuation division where he provided analytical support for appraisal opportunities for asset-based loans.
Matthew earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of New Hampshire. There he was also inducted into Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Honors Society for Economics.
