District Field Consultant
Searching for individuals with strong retail experience to expand our pool of field consultants to supervise retail store liquidations. Apparel and/or hardlines store management experience REQUIRED. Qualified Store Managers, District Managers, and Regional Managers of Department Stores, Discount Stores, Grocery Stores, Hardware & Appliance Stores, and other specialty retail stores should apply. Must be willing to travel for extended periods of time.
Position responsibilities
• Partner with Store Management to maximize sales while minimizing sales-related expenses;
• Ensure that all merchandise and visual programs are fully implemented;
• Provide the team with the tools necessary to maintain a high level of customer service;
• Recommend merchandise allocation, presentation standards, and space utilization to maximize sales;
• Monitor results against goals and develop appropriate plans of action when necessary;
• Build, direct, and train management to ensure the store team is providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer expectations are met;
• Conduct store meetings, establishing and communicating sale expectations and providing feedback to the management team and Deal Lead team;
• Evaluate the human resources process and provide recommendations to ensure the store is properly staffed with qualified, motivated associates;
• Empower associates to ensure sales and profit targets are met;
• Ensure that all general expenses and salary expenses are managed within the budget;
• Analyze shrinkage and advise the Store Management team in the implementation of shrinkage control safeguards;
• Identify potential shrinkage issues, developing and executing plans to resolve the issues within company policies.
This is a remote position performed at client sites throughout the United States, with domestic travel required for the assignments.
